Background: Mr. Swatosh graduated Cum Laude from Central Missouri State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. He was awarded the "Chamo" award from Central Missouri State University, which is an annual award given to the most outstanding students, and is based on leadership, community service, and citizenship. He graduated from the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law in 1996. Clients: Mr. Swatosh is the Prosecuting Attorney for Douglas County. He prosecutes individuals charged with felonies and misdemeanors. Mr. Swatosh was elected to this office in November of 1998. He also represents two municipalities: City of Ava; and City of Seymour. Mr. Swatosh prosecutes all criminal cases for these cities and provides general counsel to the City's board of alderman at their monthly City Council meetings.
